As a proud potato state resident, I can say we have been ahead of the Covid mess

from the beginning. It is why we have remained relatively open, businesses are surviving, no riots, no mayhem, and no canceled holidays. But now we have a new 6 week nationwide shut down looming on the horizon as soon as Big JB takes office. Our neighboring state of Washington just issued a statewide shutdown for restaurants and bars to shut down indoor service and to limit outdoor service to parties of five or fewer. Indoor gyms and fitness centers must also shut down. Same with movie theaters, bowling alleys and museums. Indoor gatherings with people outside your household will be prohibited unless participants have quarantined for at least a week and tested negative. So of course, they all get in their cars and drive 1/2 hour to come to Idaho to shop and dine, and raid our stores. The hoarding has begun again. Lockdowns dont work. It is a manufactured solution to a virus that has been used as a political football. The only comfort I have in this circus shit show is that Idaho peeps are smart enough to know better. Sadly, now Idaho residents have to hoard supplies they otherwise wouldnt have to, because Washington residents just drive here and stock up for themselves. I knew this mess was hitting close to home when I saw this little guy in the parking lot of Walmart. Proof positive animals have incredible instincts to prepare for environmental changes. I followed him to his car......sure enough......Washington license plates.

But that's just my opinion.:)
